What to Expect on the Day

Early meeting
You meet at the launch site near Yangshuo before sunrise, or in the late afternoon for a sunset flight.

Inflation and take-off
You watch the crew inflate the balloon among the fields and lift off gently over the valley.

The flight
You drift among the limestone karst peaks of the Li River, mist often hanging between them, one of China's most famous landscapes seen from the air.

Toast on landing
After landing you finish with a toast and a certificate, or continue to rafting and the evening show if your tour includes them.

- Advertise a low price that is really a long combo day tour
- Overload the basket or hide the passenger count
- Push a flight in hazy or gusty conditions
- Offer no free cancellation or weather refund
- No clear licence or authorisation
