Meet before the flight
You reach the launch field near Chambord before sunrise, or in the late afternoon for a sunset flight.

Inflation and take-off
You watch the crew inflate the balloon and lift off gently over the great walled estate.

The flight
For about an hour you drift over the Sologne forests and, on a good wind, over the Château de Chambord itself, its turrets rising from the trees.

Toast on landing
After landing you finish with a toast and a flight certificate before returning to the launch field.
What to Bring (and What to Leave at Home)

- Closed flat shoes for the field

- Postpone or cancel when the wind or visibility is marginal
- State the launch area and passenger count clearly
- Include a toast and a certificate
- Have consistent, verified reviews
Red flags to avoid
- Promise a guaranteed flight directly over the château (the wind decides)
- Overload the basket or hide the passenger count
- Pressure you to fly in borderline weather
- Offer no free cancellation or weather refund
- No clear licence or authorisation
